Richard Leonard Rausch, a member of St.. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, died Monday, Aug. 11 in Portland. He was 80.

Mr. Rausch was born Aug. 17, 1927 in Detroit, Mich., and raised and educated in Santa Cruz, Calif. He attended Santa Clara University and graduated from University of California in Berkeley. After marrying Elita de Urioste in 1953 and moving to Portland in 1959, he worked as vice president of sales for Blitz Weinhard brewing company. Mr. Rausch was a member of the Portland Golf Club, Lyder Cup Golf Group and Multnomah Athletic Club.

Survivors include his wife; daughters Elisa Leverton, Cici Rausch and Mary Carlson; sons Rick and Michael Rausch; brother Ted Rausch and 10 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was held Aug. 15 at St. Elizabeth.
